This is me, in images.

I’m a fine art photographer based in Amsterdam, drawn to the quiet power of wild animals and the stillness of landscapes.
Sensitive by nature, sharp by instinct.
I work intuitively — guided more by feeling than by fixed ideas. That’s how I create. And often, how I move through the world.

I photograph animals and landscapes in black and white. Always searching for what lies beneath the surface: a breath, a look, a flicker of presence.
The moment the animal becomes more than an animal.
Not an object. Not the ‘other’.
But a soul. A being. A reflection.

The animal chooses the moment. I follow instinct and press the shutter.
Later, in the quiet of my studio, I begin to see what the image holds — and what it reveals.
A song appears.
Often, a few lines of poetry follow.
That’s when I know the image is complete.

My images are portraits of connection — between species, between light and dark, between you and something greater.
I want to create a sense of wonder.
To invite you to pause.
To see differently.

And, in seeing and feeling, to preserve the fragile beauty of what I witness.

Photography is not just what I do.
It’s how I understand the world.
